I am so grateful we had the opportunity to work with Julia for our daughter’s birth and postpartum. Julia went above and beyond to support us during our (very lengthy!) labor, bringing an abundance of levity, joy and nonjudgmental acceptance throughout the process. She helped me access physical strength and determination I didn’t know I had - I honestly don’t think I could have done it without her. Julia was also a wealth of knowledge during the postpartum period, where her guidance and reassurance were truly invaluable. Julia is an incredible doula and human being, and we feel so fortunate to have had her on this journey with us!

I’m dedicated to supporting families through pregnancy, childbirth and beyond, with warmth, compassion, and expertise. Inspired by witnessing my friend’s home birth many years ago, I combine a rich background in acting, dance, yoga, and prenatal fitness with certifications as a birth and postpartum doula, prenatal nutrition, birth education and lactation.

I live in Harlem with my husband. We have two grown daughters and a new grandchild! I bring authenticity, joyful humor, and a collaborative spirit to every birth experience, ensuring families feel empowered and cared for throughout their journey.
